I have at times called my short poems mutant-haiku, but maybe my Irish dna and its draw to the limerick has more to do with my love of short poems. I don’t follow form but “write poetry by ear like a musician who doesn’t read notes can still play music.” Seems there are lots of short poetry forms, many of which are listed here: http://www.musepiepress.com/shotglass/glossary2.html Thanks for asking!
